How to Connect Third Party Apps to Microsoft 365 as an Admin

These steps are for the admins on your Microsoft Entra account:

  1. Login to Microsoft Entra.
  2. Visit Enterprise Apps menu
  3. Click on Consent & Permissions
  4. Select Admin Consent Settings
  5. Under “Users can request admin consent to apps they are unable to consent to​”, toggle to Yes
  6. Then under “Who can review admin consent requests​”, select the user in the organization who can approve such requests. Most times, that’d be you.
  7. Click save
  8. Ask the staff member to try request for access again
  9. Confirm it’s been done and then go to Admin Consent Requests
  10. The just made request would be seen there
  11. Click on it and give approval.
  12. This will pull up a window, asking you to login as an admin and approve the request
  13. Once done, the user will now have access to the application.
